Linked rate codes

Linked rate codes/Derived rates

A linked rate will mirror another Rate Code, with a set monetary increase.  This can be useful when setting Rate Codes such as dinner, bed, and breakfast.  The price can track a room only or bed and breakfast rate and apply a set uplift per person if occupancy driven, or an uplift for the inclusions if a package is not occupancy driven.  This feature will save administration time, as rather than having to set the price against the bed and breakfast rate and the dinner, bed, and breakfast rate, the price can just be set against bed and breakfast.

To use linked Rate Codes, open the rate code that needs to follow another rate and move to the advanced page.
