The confirmed reservation status can be used if a pre-arrival call/email process or policy is in place. The status of the reservation can be changed using the status drop down menu.
A feature in the new correspondence engine has been created to schedule a pre-arrival email to restaurant guests. These can confirm or cancel the reservation with call-to-action buttons embedded in the email.
After the customer has selected one of the options, it will amend the status of the reservation to either confirmed or cancelled.
Confirmed reservations are displayed in a different colour on the planner in Restaurant Manager.
